Mazzin in the center of Val di Fassa

The municipality of Mazzin di Fassa includes three small villages: Mazzin, Campestrin and Fontanazzo which, together, have less than 500 inhabitants.

All this gives Mazzin the medal of the quietest municipality in the Val di Fassa.

Its central position with respect to the valley allows tourists who choose Mazzin to easily reach all the other centers in Fassa.

Thus, in a few minutes, it is possible to reach the ski lifts of the upper Val di Fassa, as well as those of Pozza di Fassa which lead to the Buffaure Ski Area or to the Catinaccio Ski Area from Pera di Fassa. In this regard we remember the ski bus service that connects all the ski areas of the valley.

Mazzin offers great ideas for cross-country skiing. Suffice it to say that its entire territory is crossed by the route of the legendary Marcialonga.

In summer from Mazzin it is possible to undertake excursions on the Catinaccio-Antermoia climbing along the impervious and wild Val Udai.
